AAUW Loess Hills has invited 13 middle schools to submit 1 girl each who displayed perseverance in overcoming obstacles. Examples have included poverty, immigration, language and hearing barriers, bullying, loss of parent, and physical or emotional handicaps. Feedback from schools was very positive about the impact on girls and families. A Council Bluffs Nonpareil reporter interviewed parents and girls and featured photos in an article published on April 25, 2024.
We appreciate your charitable contribution to encourage and empower girls.
Sincerely,
Jan Creasman, President
