Annual Membership is upon us from April to July
Membership areas cover the following types:
National – Individual membership as of 4-1-2026 $76.00
Current lifetime members will not be charged more dues. Members who choose to become paid lifetime members after April 1, 2026 will be charged 20 times the new dues rate
(for a total of $1,520), per the dues rate required for lifetime members by the AAUW bylaws.
State – Iowa is $10.00
Branch – Amount varies
Student Member – Undergraduates or degree-seeking graduates enrolled in full-time or part-time programs can join AAUW at a special low rate and enjoy a range of benefits to help them succeed on campus and after graduation. AAUW dues are fully tax deductible.
Student Membership Dues (College/University Member School): FREE
Student Membership Dues (Non-College/University Member School): $18.81/annual
Reward of membership is so far beyond what I can say. You develop friendships, have access to a wealth of information, and provide change to others lives in so many ways. These are just few of the benefits. In addition. AAUW dues are entirely tax deductible. Your link to benefits and rewards:

Renewal can be done by paying on line which is the national’s preference or paying your branch treasurer.
For renewal online remember to go to https://my.aauw.org/NC__Login. The page has Welcome then below Donate, Engage Renew. If you don’t have an account please set one up or if you have forgot your password click on those bold words to reconcile.
If you have no issue scroll down to login and verify your personal data renewal dates. If you need to renew in April please do so, otherwise save this info for your renewal date. Also some branches may not have their renewal for branch dues on the web site. It still will take you to the page to choose your branch, but won’t add a dollar amount. Remember to pay your branch treasure the amount of these dues.
You will see a red renew button about ¾ way down. Click and build your renewal cart.
Continue to Local branch dues IA(4 digit #) plus name of branch click in box to choose your branch branch dues vary in amount. At bottom of page click Next.
You will be at list of state dues click on box for IA-Iowa state dues which is $10.00. At bottom of page click Next. This takes you to you want to donate to Greatest Need fund ($3.00) answer yes or no. Click Next. This page is your cart there is an edit and remove button make sure you are paying for the right state and branch(s) Dues once verified to be correct enter payment information. Verify your not a robot. Click on Submit and pay. If you have any problems the national phone # is 202.785.7700. I have found them very helpful and easy to talk to.
